Hello, I am Ilana! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California (LMFT #116296).

I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from UC Berkeley. Prior to enrolling in my Master’s program, I worked with children who have autism. I then received my Master’s in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as my Pupil Personnel and Services Credential (PPS) from Phillips Graduate University.

I work with individuals and families from a variety of backgrounds. I have experience in a multitude of settings, including schools, private practice, and community mental health.

My therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT ), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy. I believe that therapy is collaborative and encourage my clients to grow in a safe, therapeutic environment.

I founded Daily Therapy Dose (DTD) in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I saw the potential for a community that addressed the rising concerns in mental health. DTD is here to provide useful information regarding mental health through a variety of platforms. The goal is to connect therapists, thinkers, and learners to make therapy accessible to all. We want to spread the conversation about wellbeing and growing into your healthiest self.
